About Me |
|
I’ve been writing since my early 20s, when I started writing short stories and taking classes for the fun of it. I finally got up the nerve to begin submitting my work and was thrilled beyond words when my first short story written for teens was sold in 1990. I was hooked! Since that time I’ve written three books, including my latest young adult novel, Time To Cast Away, to be released in April 2008. Other books include teen novel, Just Call Me Goody-Two-Shoes, and a non-fiction book I co-authored, Residential Steel Design and Construction. In addition, my articles and short stories have been published in national and regional magazines and I won three journalism awards from the Washington Newspaper Publishers Association while working as a reporter. (See Published Works for more details.) I’m currently working on a third young adult novel. My husband, Scott, and I live in southern California and have two grown children and one grandchild. |
